About me

I grew up on a small farm in a village, close to where the Yangtze River flows into the Pacific Ocean. My parents have the use right of one acre of farmland. Summer rice and winter wheat are common crops in the region. We raised pigs, ducks, and chickens. Some neighbors also breed cattle and goats. I enjoyed my childhood climbing trees and fishing! Now you see why I'm so interested in agricultural and environmental (especially water) issues.

I now live in Albuquerque, NM with my husband and two kids. In my spare time, I enjoy hiking and gardening with my family.
